The safety of your child is of utmost importance to us at SCG Kids. We have highlighted three areas where you may have the most questions. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.
Check In and Pick Up
Each child who attends SCG Kids needs to be checked in by a team member before entering their program. When checked in, all kids will receive 2 name tags, one to be placed on the child and the other for the parent. (Nursery kids receive 3, one for their bag) When parents arrive to pick up their child, the name tags must match. If not, you will need to see an SCG Kids staff member and show a valid ID before your child is released to you.
Volunteer requirements
• All volunteers are prescreened through live scan fingerprinting
• Volunteers have been through a volunteer orientation
• 2 volunteers must be in a room at all times
• No child is ever alone with and adult or unsupervised
• All volunteers must wear a picture name tag when in the children’s/nursery building
Paging parents
If your child needs you during the time they are in our care, this is how we will contact you.
Nursery: We will send you a text through our check-in system. If you are new, you will be asked for your cell phone number and carrier. Then you will be asked to keep your phone on silent during the service.
Preschool and Elementary: Your duplicate name tag has a number code on it. If you see a number code appear on the main screens in the sanctuary, please see if it matches your tag. If it does, head toward your childs class and a volunteer will meet you and fill you in on why you were needed.
