Thanks for wanting to do something for God. At SCG, we believe that each one of us has unique talents, skills and experiences. Most people go through life focused on how they can use those gifts to benefit themselves – to get a better job, gain respect or get rich. Some people recognize that their gifts were meant for a larger audience. God takes this willingness to contribute and uses it to help us become more like Christ. Serving isn’t an obligation. It’s an opportunity to grow in our faith and to experience more profound joy in our own lives.
We encourage SCGers to begin serving within the church and then explore service opportunities in our community and around the world. Click on one of the icons below to check out available opportunities and thanks for putting your faith into action.
Our goal is to bring about the change – both personal and societal – that happens when we obediently serve and share the good news.

Contribute Your Resources
As part of our worship to Him, God calls on us to give regularly, generously and sacrificially as an expression of gratitude for all He has given us. He asks that we give back as a reminder of his goodness and abundant love.
Just as the body is dead without a spirit, so also faith is dead without good deeds. - James 2: 26
How to Give
- During each weekend service we have a time to reflect and “Give Back to God.” You can place cash or a check in the “Give Back to God” envelopes located in the seat backs in our venues and then drop it in the collection bag as it is passed.
